Meeting held in Hawaii to tackle declining tourist numbers
HONOLULU, United States - Forty-five people in fields related to the tourist industry, including Japan Airlines (JAL) President Isao Kaneko and Hawaiian Lieutenant Gov. Mazie Hirono, gather in Honolulu on Dec. 8 to discuss measures to combat the decrease in the number of tourists stemming from the current economic slump and the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.
