Coast guard ship Amami returning to Kagoshima

KASARI, Japan - The Japan Coast Guard's patrol ship Amami is peppered with bullet holes as it sails 185 kilometers northwest of the island of Amami-Oshima on Dec. 23 to return to Kagoshima port. Two crew members were injured in shoot-out on Dec. 22 with an unidentified ship believed to be from North Korea.
