Police officers check bullet holes on patrol boat
KAGOSHIMA, Japan - Police officers check bullet holes in windows of the wheelhouse of the Amami, a Japan Coast Guard patrol boat, in Kagoshima on Dec. 24. The vessel arrived at Taniyama port in Kagoshima, southwestern Japan, Dec. 24 after being hit on Dec. 22 in the East China Sea by shots from a suspected North Korean spy ship, which sank after exchanging fire with Japanese patrol boats.
