Yomiuri's Kiyohara signs 4-year deal

TOKYO, Japan - Yomiuri Giants infielder Kazuhiro Kiyohara is about to leave his club office in Tokyo on Dec. 27 after agreeing to a new four-year deal carrying an estimated 450 million yen annual salary in addition to performance incentives. ''I was able to sign the new deal comfortably. I'll do my best to help the team win the championship, believing that personal improvement leads to team development,'' Kiyohara said of his goal for his 17th season.
