Colombian rebels want $27 mil. ransom for Japan exec
MEXICO CITY, Mexico - Guerrillas in Colombia are demanding $27 million in ransom for Chikao Muramatsu (file photo), who was kidnapped in Bogota in February last year, a Colombian magazine reported Jan. 6. Muramatsu, the 53-year-old vice president of a local joint venture involving Japanese auto parts maker Yazaki Corp., is being held by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
