Wei-era bronze mirror displayed at Tokyo museum
TOKYO, Japan - A bronze mirror with an inscription indicating it was made in 235 in Wei-era China is on display at the Tokyo National Museum after a private collector brought it to the attention of scholars recently. While it is not known where the mirror was originally found, some experts say it may be one of 100 bronze mirrors given to Japan by the Wei Dynasty when Queen Himiko of Japan's Yamatai Kingdom sent her first delegation to China in 239, four years after the mirror was made. The photo was released by the Tokyo National Museum
