TOPIX sinks to new post-bubble closing low
TOKYO, Japan - An electric sign board displaying stock quotations in Tokyo's Yurakucho district shows the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX), which covers all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, plunging to 975.20, the lowest level since May 17, 1985, on Jan. 23.
