120 told to evacuate after mudslide dams river in Tottori
TOTTORI, Japan - A pile of soil from a quarry in the town of Chizu in Tottori Prefecture, western Japan, collapsed Jan. 25, causing a mudslide that dammed a 30-meter section of the Sendai River. About 120 people were told to evacuate on flood fears.
