DPJ upper house member Ohashi resigns
TOKYO, Japan - Kyosen Ohashi, a House of Councillors member of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), answers questions from reporters while walking in the Diet building Jan. 29 after tendering a letter of resignation to upper house President Yutaka Inoue. He said he submitted his resignation because of the public's lack of trust in politics and his dissatisfaction with the management of the DPJ.
