Nissho Iwai to cut 5,000 jobs over 3 years
TOKYO, Japan - Trading house Nissho Iwai Corp. President Shiro Yasutake announces a three-year restructuring plan requiring the loss of 5,000 jobs from its current consolidated workforce of 19,000 at a news conference in Tokyo on Jan. 29.
