Coast guard sonar finds object same length as sunken ship
TOKYO, Japan - Crew members of Japan Coast Guard patrol ship Izu prepare a remote-controlled underwater TV camera on Feb. 26 to probe an object detected in the East China Sea. The object, found on the seabed by a floating sonar device, is about the same length as the unidentified ship that sank there last December after exchanging fire with Japanese patrol ships. The photo was provided by the coast guard.
