2 held over manipulation of Shimura Kako stock
TOKYO, Feb. 27 Kyodo - Yoshiteru Nishi, 46-year-old president of a consulting firm, leaves a hospital in Tokyo's Minato Ward on Feb. 27 to be questioned by prosecutors for allegedly manipulating the stock price of Shimura Kako Co., a specialized nickel processor listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Later, the Tokyo District Prosecutors Office arrested Nishi as well as Kazumi Takeuchi, 49, agent for an overseas investment group and a former employee of a securities company, in the case.
