TOKYO, Japan - Hiroshi Yoshida, president of debt-saddled Sato Kogyo Co., bows in a gesture of apology at a news conference in Tokyo on March 3 after his company and eight of its subsidiaries filed for protection from creditors with the Tokyo District Court under the Corporate Rehabilitation Law.
