TEPCO hopes to challenge NTT dominance in Internet access
TOKYO, Japan - Nobuya Minami, president of Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), speaks in a recent interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo. Minami said TEPCO hopes to check the dominance of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (NTT) in Japan's telecom market by launching its own high-speed optical fiber Internet access service.
