Tokushima governor tenders resignation over bribery
TOKUSHIMA, Japan - Hajime Shinomiya, chairman of the Tokushima prefectural assembly, shows reporters at the prefectural government building in Tokushima on March 14 a letter of resignation submitted by Tokushima Gov. Toshio Endo. Endo was arrested March 4 on suspicion of taking 8 million yen in bribes.
