Kano testifies at lower house committee
TOKYO, Japan - Michihiko Kano, former vice president of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan, responds to questions as an unsworn witness at a House of Representatives Budget Committee session April 8. He denied any involvement in cases linked to his former secretary Mitsuro Ozaki, who has been indicted on charges of sending bribes to several individuals, including former Tokushima Gov. Toshio Endo.
