Japan, U.S. remain apart over steel tariff issue
WASHINGTON, United States - U.S. Commerce Secretary Don Evans (L) welcomes Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Takeo Hiranuma at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington on April 30 before their talks. Evans and Hiranuma remained apart over emergency U.S. tariffs imposed in March on steel imports from Japan and other countries.
