Prosecutors end search of Suzuki office after 7 hours

KUSHIRO, Japan - Officials from the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office take out of lawmaker Muneo Suzuki's office in Kushiro, Hokkaido, on May 1 a cardboard box containing documents. The Tokyo prosecutors searched the office for seven hours looking for evidence to support allegations of big-rigging in a government-financed project on a Russian-held island claimed by Japan.
