Japan sends team to China over consulate case
NARITA, Japan - Masaaki Ono, director general of the Foreign Ministry's Consular and Migration Affairs Department, prepares May 10 to leave Narita airport, east of Tokyo, for China. He leads a five-member investigation team looking into the May 8 incident in which Chinese police seized five North Korean asylum seekers inside the Japanese Consulate General in Shenyang without Japan's consent.
