Japan, China agree asylum seekers to go to 3rd nation
TOKYO, Japan - Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Dawei is surrounded by members of the media at the Foreign Ministry on May 15 as he emerges from a meeting with Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Yukio Takeuchi. Japan and China agreed that five North Korean asylum seekers seized by Chinese police at a Japanese consulate in northeastern China on May 8 will depart for a third country.
