Diamond Princess cruise ship welcomed by water spray
NAGASAKI, Japan - A fireboat sprays water as part of a ceremony marking the launch into the sea of the Diamond Princess, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, on May 25 in Nagasaki Prefecture. The 113,000-ton vessel, 290 meters long and 41.5 meters wide, is designed to be environment-friendly, featuring diesel engines releasing lower amounts of pollutants.
