Pakistan hopes for Japanese role in settling Kashmir conflict
TOKYO, Japan - Najimuddinn Shaikh, former Pakistani foreign secretary and special envoy, speaks in an interview with Kyodo News at the Pakistani Embassy in Tokyo on June 19. Shaikh voiced expectations that Japan will try harder to alleviate the current tension between Pakistan and India over Kashmir in cooperation with other major industrialized countries.
