Blair urges Koizumi to keep up structural reforms
CALGARY, Canada - British Prime Minister Tony Blair (L) and Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi shake hands at the mountain retreat of Kananaskis in the Canadian Rockies on June 26 prior to their talks. Blair urged Koizumi to press on with structural reforms of the Japanese economy despite domestic opposition. The two leaders met on the sidelines of the summit of the Group of Eight major nations.
