Nagashima, Fukushima to take shots at WBC crowns in Aug.
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese challengers Kengo Nagashima (2nd from R) and Manabu Fukushima (2nd from L) will get their shots at World Boxing Council (WBC) championship titles in late August in Japan. Nagashima, the WBC's second-ranked challenger in the super featherweight division, will take on former world champion Sirimongkol Singmanassuk of Thailand for the vacant title, while Fukushima will fight interim champion Oscar Larios of Mexico for the WBC super bantamweight crown.
