Tanaka speaks on 'anti-dam' policy

NISHIKI, Japan - Nagano Gov. Yasuo Tanaka speaks on his ''anti-dam'' policy in Nishiki, Kumamoto Prefecture, on July 7. Appearing in a TV program earlier in the day, Tanaka stressed that his policy is unaffected by the no-confidence motion against him, which passed on July 5 by the Nagano prefectural assembly.
