Asashoryu defeated by Takanonami
NAGOYA, Japan - Sekiwake Asashoryu is defeated by No. 7 Takanonami, his first loss of the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament at Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium on July 16. The Mongolian ozeki hopeful now shares the lead at 9-1 with yokozuna Musashimaru and ozeki Chiyotaikai.
