2,000 enjoy salsa event on Fukuoka island
NOKONOSHIMA, Japan - About 2,000 men and women participate in the ''Isla de Salsa'' dancing party on Nokonoshima Island in Hakata Bay in Fukuoka Prefecture on Aug. 17. Tthe event, the sixth in an annual series that began in 1997, was the largest salsa party ever held in Japan. (Kyodo)
