KOCHI, Japan - Photo shows Kashiwajima Island located off the Pacific coast of Kochi Prefecture in southern Shikoku. A citizen's group said on Aug. 22 it has applied with the local government to establish a nonprofit organization (NPO) to turn the entire island into a natural museum. (Kyodo)
