Honda's new Fit gives drivers choice of 2 transmission modes

TOKYO, Japan - A new 1.5-liter Fit car unveiled by Honda Motor Co. on Sept. 12 allows a driver to choose between two transmission-system modes -- continually variable transmission (CVT) or automatic transmission -- without removing the hands from the steering wheel. (Kyodo)
