Japanese man visits hometown after 39 years in N. Korea
KANAZAWA, Japan - Takeshi Terakoshi, a Japanese man who went missing while fishing in the Sea of Japan 39 years ago and has since lived in North Korea, is presented with flowers by his kin on arrival for a visit to his hometown in Ishikawa Prefecture on the Sea of Japan coast on Oct. 4. Accompanying him is his 71-year-old mother Tomoe. (Kyodo)
