Mitsubishi Heavy to continue building fire-damaged luxury ship

NAGASAKI, Japan - Photo taken Oct. 2 shows the 113,000-ton Diamond Princess damaged by fire while under construction at the Nagasaki shipyard of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. Mitsubishi said Oct. 10 it and P&O Princess Cruises PLC, a major international cruise company based in Britain, have agreed to continue construction on the ship. (Kyodo)
