MMC unveils Colt compact car featuring high-fuel efficiency

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. (MMC) President Rolf Eckrodt introduces the company's Colt compact car featuring the high-fuel efficiency of 20 kilometers per liter of gasoline of its 1.3-liter engine version at a hotel in Tokyo's Chiyada Ward on Nov. 11. The Colt is equipped with the same platform and suspension as that of the planned compact car to be released by the Smart car division of DaimlerChrysler AG, MMC's leading shareholder. (Kyodo)
