Yomiuri, slugger Petagine agree on 2-year deal
TOKYO, Japan - Venezuelan slugger Roberto Petagine (file photo) agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the Yomiuri Giants, officials of the Central League club said Nov. 19. Petagine is to fill the void left by Hideki Matsui, who is seeking to play in the United States. (Kyodo)
