(1)Chimura couple begin driver's training

OBAMA, Japan - Yasushi Chimura, one of five Japanese back in their homeland for the first time since being abducted to North Korea in 1978, takes driving lessons in his hometown of Obama, Fukui Prefecture on Nov. 26 to prepare to take on the roads of Japan. Chimura and his wife Fukie renewed their driver's licenses on Oct. 31 after taking written exams under a special arrangement by the Fukui prefectural government, but they still had to get used to driving here after a 24-year absence from the country.
