SV Hamburg agree deal with Iwata for Takahara
OSAKA, Japan - German first-division side SV Hamburg reached a deal with J-League champions Jubilo Iwata on Dec. 21 for the transfer of Japan striker Naohiro Takahara (in file photo). ''Both sides have reached an agreement and Takahara will play in Germany,'' said Hamburg technical director Dietmar Beiersdorf after lengthy talks held at an Osaka hotel. (Kyodo)
