Matsui starts training
TOKYO, Japan - Hideki Matsui, who has agreed with the Yankees on a three-year, $21 million deal, arrives at the Yomiuri Giants Ball Park on Dec. 26 to begin training for the next season. The ex-Giants slugger said earlier he will fly to the United States for the signing of his deal with the Yankees after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in Japan. (Kyodo)
