Mail service at Lawson stores begins
TOKYO, Japan - A woman puts letters into a mailbox at a convenience store run by Lawson Inc. on Jan. 1 in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward. Mail collection services began the same day at some 7,700 Lawson's convenience stores under an agreement with the Postal Services Agency. Lawson is the first convenience store chain in Japan to install postal boxes in stores. (Kyodo)
