JOC executive board member Kawamori dies
TOKYO, Japan - Keiko Kawamori (file photo), a Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) executive board member, died of a liver ailment Dec. 29 at a hospital in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, sports officials said Jan. 6. She was 54. Kawamori became the first female JOC executive board member in 1991. (Kyodo)
