Honda's Fit grabs best-selling car title in 2002

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co.'s Fit compact passenger car (file photo) grabbed the title of Japan's best-selling vehicle in 2002 with total sales of 250,790 units, with Toyota Motor Corp.'s Corolla slipping from the top spot for the first time in 34 years, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association announced on Jan. 9.
