Missing Kagoshima man abducted by N. Korea: support group

KAGOSHIMA, Japan - Makoto Taneda, seen in this file photo taken in 1984, was possibly abducted by North Korean agents, the Kagoshima chapter of a national group supporting victims of North Korean abductions and their families said on Jan. 9. Taneda, a native of the town of Iriki in Kagoshima Prefecture, went missing in around May 1984 in Kyoto at the age of 34. Photo was provided by the group. (Kyodo)
