Ex-Construction Minister Nakamura to lose seat

TOKYO, Japan - The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal by former Construction Minister Kishiro Nakamura (file photo) against his conviction for bribery. Nakamura will lose his seat in the House of Representatives after his sentence of 18 months in prison and a 10 million yen fine is finalized by the end of January. (Kyodo)
