Suzuki launches Twin hybrid minivehicle

TOKYO, Japan - Suzuki Motor Corp. Chairman Osamu Suzuki stands by his company's new environmentally friendly gasoline-electric hybrid minicar, Twin, launched at a news conference in Tokyo on Jan. 22. The Twin, with an engine displacement of 660 cc and seating two, is the first commercial hybrid minivehicle to be put on the market. (Kyodo)
