U.S. Navy welcomes expansion of MSDF refueling operation

AL MANAMAH, Bahrain - U.S. Navy Col. William Eliot tells Kyodo News and other media outlets in Al Manamah, Bahrain on Feb. 13 that he welcomes Japan's plans to expand the Maritime Self-Defense Force's (MSDF) antiterrorism refueling operations in the Arabian Sea to include naval vessels from a total of eight countries.
