Koreans in Japan gather to support abductees
OSAKA, Japan - Paek Song Bo (R), who heads a local chapter of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), offers an apology Feb. 15 for his and his group's year of denial about North Korea's abductions of Japanese people. Hundreds of Korean residents in Japan attended a rally in Osaka, pledging support for Japanese who were abducted to North Korea in the 1970s and 1980s. (Kyodo)
