Harbinson defends farm trade proposals
TOKYO, Japan - Stuart Harbinson, the World Trade Organization's (WTO) farm negotiations chairman, speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on Feb. 16 after ministers from 22 selected WTO member economies ended their three-day meeting with little headqay. He said it is ''unfair'' to easily criticize a set of proposals he recently made over farm trade while stressing his readiness to revise them in line with recommendations by member economies. (Kyodo)
