NAHA, Japan - The Japan Coast Guard patrol ship Ryukyu leaves Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, on Feb. 27 for the Philippines to participate in drills with the Philippine coastal police as part of measures to prevent hijackings by pirates in Asian waters. (Kyodo)
