Toyota to introduce new Avensis in Japan in fall

NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. will introduce the new Avensis (photo), a strategic car model developed for the European market, in Japan this fall, the company said on March 4. Launched in Britain on March 1, the new Avensis is set to be released in other European countries this spring. The latest Avensis will be available in four models including a 2.0-liter direct-injection gasoline engine version. (Kyodo)
