LDP lawmaker Sakai arrested over hiding political donations

TOKYO, Japan - Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) lawmaker Takanori Sakai (file photo) was arrested by prosecutors on March 7 on suspicion of concealing political donations. Earlier in the day, the House of Representatives lifted his immunity to arrest. (Kyodo)
