Fighters acquire ex-Brewers southpaw Nomura

TOKYO, Japan - The Nippon Ham Fighters said March 19 they have acquired former Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Takahito Nomura (in file photo) for the upcoming season. The 34-year-old southpaw had no wins or losses in his 21 appearances with the Brewers in 2002, the only season he has played in the major leagues. (Kyodo)
