Toyoda to become senior managing director of Toyota
NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. will promote Akio Toyoda (in file photo), its managing director and widely expected to become its president in the future, to senior managing director in late June, company officials said April 8. Toyoda, 46, is a grandson of the company's founder, Kiichiro Toyoda, and the eldest son of Shoichiro Toyoda, Toyota's honorary chairman. (Kyodo)
